Two new hires as Fairer Finance launches in Scotland

Fairer Finance is launching a new Scottish division headed by Ruth Gilbert, while Bobby Lyons joins as director from Bank of Ireland

Fairer Finance has hired two new members of senior staff as it expands north of the border into Scotland.

Ruth Gilbert joins the business to spearhead Fairer Finance Scotland. Ruth is an experienced consultant who has advised major firms in the insurance and technology sectors on process and product design, along with communications. She designs both simple and personalised life and health insurance products, helping companies adapt to their customers' needs.

Bobby Lyons has also joined Fairer Finance as a new director in the firm's consultancy and research business, where he will be the primary point of contact for the businesses that Fairer Finance works with. Bobby joins from Bank of Ireland UK, where he was part of the team managing the Bank's partnership with the Post Office.

Bobby has over 15 years experience within the financial services industry, principally in retail and commercial banking. He has worked with a number of well-known companies in both Ireland and the UK - specialising in marketing and sales, strategy and business planning.

Now in its fourth year, Fairer Finance continues to grow. Over the last three years, it has worked with a number of major businesses in the financial services industry, including Royal London, Ageas, the Co-op, Lloyds, Vitality, TSB and Axa.

Its endorsements appear regularly in national print and broadcast media.
