Based on pensions and savings alone, many future retirees are heading for relatively low living standards. Yet, many people hold housing wealth that could help fund their retirement. In our report, we quantify the extent to which housing wealth could support later life living standards, and explores what policymakers should do to help people make the most of their housing wealth.
