The CORGI HomePlan story begins two years after 1968’s Ronan Point Disaster, an explosion in a 22-story London apartment block caused its collapse and was attributed to unsafe gas work.
In 1970 CORGI (short for Confederation for the Registration of Gas Installers) was established to protect the public and uphold the highest professional standards across the heating industry.
In 2017 CORGI HomePlan became part of the OVO group
