Geoffrey Insurance is owned by Markerstudy, following its acquisition of Chaucer Direct in 2015. The name changed from Chaucer Direct in 2016.
Geoffrey Insurance sells regular car and van insurance, policies for learners as well as pet insurance. It is based in Whitstable.
Markerstudy works with UK brands and brokers, but its ultimate parent company is based in Gibraltar.
The policies are underwritten by Zenith Insurance, a publicly-traded firm which sells own-brand policies too. It also underwrites policies for many other insurance brokers.
