Handelsbanken, a Swedish bank, has offered financial products in the UK since 1982. Whilst in Sweden it is one of the major banks, it also has over 200 branches in the UK.
Known for offering business bank accounts it has recently transferred ownership to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Svenska Handelsbanken.
Its headquarters are in Stockholm and it offers life insurance as well as normal banking products like personal current accounts.
