Ingenie provides specialist car insurance for young drivers aged 17 to 25.
If you take out a car insurance policy with Ingenie it will install a in-car telematics device which assesses your driving, including speed, braking and acceleration. This can change the cost of your premium, aiming to get a lower premium for younger drivers who drive carefully.
Ingenie's policies are underwritten by Inter Partner Assistance SA (IPA), a large multinational insurance company.
Both Ingenie and Inter Partner Assistance are owned by the large multinational insurance company AXA, which owns and administers a number of other insurance brands.
