LV= is a large UK insurance brand, which was once the UK's largest friendly society.
It was founded in 1843 as Liverpool Victoria and changed its consumer facing brand to LV= in 2007. However, in 2019 it sold its general insurance arm to German insurer Allianz - allowing it to continue using the LV= brand.
