Royal Bank of Scotland
The Royal Bank of Scotland is 73% owned by the UK Government.
The Government is currently selling off its remaining stake in the bank, in staggered sales. As well as the RBS brand, the Royal Bank of Scotland also owns Natwest and Ulster Bank.
RBS continues to score very poorly for customer satisfaction and trust, and currently languishes towards the bottom of our tables in all product areas where it is rated by Fairer Finance.
Its mortgages and personal loans, notably, come near or at the bottom of their respective rankings.
