Bank of Ireland (UK)
Established in 2009 as a separate legal entity, Bank of Ireland (UK) is the UK subsidiary of Bank of Ireland, a leading retail bank in Ireland founded in 1783.
Most of Bank of Ireland's business in the UK is done under the Post Office brand, for which it runs the financial services division. Bank of Ireland's credit card business was bought by Jaja Finance in 2020.
Bank of Ireland (UK) does offer a limited number of products direct to the UK market, however these are mainly found in Northern Ireland where Bank of Ireland has held branches since 1825. These products include bank accounts, savings accounts and mortgages.
